Football Mid North Coast is putting a shout out for any players interested in joining the Women’s Premier League competition.

Fielding sides in first grade, under 18s, under 16s and under 14s, the squads play in the strong Newcastle-based competition.

Training and game days are held on a rotation basis between zone field Taree and Wauchope’s Fairmont Gardens.

All four WPL squads reached the semi finals in 2015 season in a highly successful year for the teams. And while the two younger aged squads enjoy plenty of support, the team’s first grade side, in particular, requires more players.

Head coach Matt Baker leads a group of highly credentialed coaches with supporting managers for all grades. The WPL also has a very popular coordinator in Kathy Bestwick to guide the squads through the program.
Players can expect to gain valuable experience on and off the pitch during the year and will certainly enjoy a competitive season.
