STATE SAP CHAMPIONSHIPS

June 12th, 2019

Football Mid North Coast wins the U12 First Touch Football Supplies State SAP Championships.

An outstanding championship performance has seen the 12 Years Football Mid North Coast (FMNC) squad take home the winning title of the First Touch Football Supplies (FTFS) State SAP Championships.

The three (3) day tournament was played over the long weekend at the multi-million dollar upgraded C.ex International Stadium, Coffs Harbour.

With the winning teams based off points, the final day of matches had the crowds on edge as tournament leaders played off for top position on the ladder.

Leading the table from the previous day, the 12 Years FMNC team kicked off the first game, defeating the NNSWF Select SAP squad 6 nil.

The squad remained undeterred by its competition playing the final match of the day, facing off against Macquarie with a winning result of 3 nil.

The U11 Years FMNC side were also in action across the tournament and performed admirably across their six (6) competition matches.

FMNC Referees William Sawyer and Brandon Wallace represented the zone at the Talented Official Program (TOP) Camp. Both performed strongly across the tournament.
