Aidan Workum and Ethan Eames … two FMNC players selected in the Emerging Jets squads for 2016.
Football Mid North Coast has more than tripled its selections in the Emerging Jets squads for the 2016 season.
With 10 players named in the squads – up from three in 2015 – FMNC general manager Peter Daniels said the increase is due to a number of factors.
“Certainly, FMNC congratulates the players on their selection in the Emerging Jets program.
“The players identified and who progressed to the EJ program are among the best players in the northern NSW area and have come through the local system.
“Our coaching staff under the direction of technical director Larry Budgen, should see these players’ selection as testament to their effort as well.
“Of course, the parents of these players have also made a significant contribution to the selection process, with a number of training nights in Newcastle to attend.
“Overall, this is a great result for the players and their families, and the wider FMNC community.”
