Newcastle Permanent Community Awards for 2019 Announced

The Newcastle Permanent Community Awards for 2019 were announced recently. These awards provide the much needed recognition for the people that keep our game running throughout the year. The coaches, the volunteers and the referees contributing each week to their local footballing communities.

 

Rachel Bax was the recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Coach of the Year award for her exceptional work with the FMNC U/12 Development Squad in Port Macquarie. The Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Matty Zarb of Rainbow Warriors FC for his outstanding work throughout 2019, while William Sawyer picked up the Referee of the Year award for his brilliant officiating during the season.
