Referee Courses 2016 Season – updated 9th March

Football Mid North Coast referee standing committee will reschedule two of its popular level 4 referee courses.

The South West Rocks and Taree course, the latter scheduled for March 27, will forced to be rescheduled due to a number of reasons.

FMNC will announce the new dates for these two courses when they have been confirmed via the standing committee and zone referee coordinator, Ossie Bellamy.

The response to the remaining courses was outstanding and augers well for a solid number of match officials for the upcoming season.

But, Bellamy said, it is imperative that anyone considering attending a course at one of the locations register their intentions.

“We must know in advance how many people will be attending any one of these courses so we can ensure we have enough information and resources at hand to distribute to them,” he said.

“So it is in everyone’s best interest to let us know prior to the course being held that they will be attending.”

Ossie said course participants should email refsec@footballmidnorthcoast.com to lodge their interest in one of the courses.

Prior to attending a course, participants must complete the introductory online laws of the game. These are available by going to: https://laws.myfootballclub.com.au/

When you log onto this site, register and then complete the online section, participants can print out their certificate of completion and take along to their course.

Meanwhile referee seminars will be held on April 3, 2016 at Laurieton United Services Club from 10am to 2pm. There will be a sausage sizzle available and this meeting is important and attendance is vital.

Premier League and invited referees will also be required to attend a seminar at LUSC on April 10 from 10am to 1pm. Attendance for Premier League and invited referees is compulsory.
